On our way, we encountered many waterfalls and caves. However, Shillong, being the heart of Meghalaya, is very crowded and a bit expensive. So without wasting any time, let’s start our travel story. Our day started with a cool breeze and morning rays on our face. It was already around 9 am. So we quickly got ready, had our breakfast and jumped into our car.
Our first destination for the day was Shillong Peak followed by Elephant Falls, then Lakyrsiew Tea Garden and finally Barapani Umium Lake.
